NEW FOR 2026
We’re especially proud of this one.
After months of research and testing, we’re now switching to our new Coat25 finishing system for all 2026 boards. It has secretly been on some boards for some time already, but now 100% of boards will feature this
This process replaces the traditional epoxy hot-coat with a lightweight, ultra-resistant coating originally developed for wind turbine blades. It’s quicker to apply, much stronger, and reduces the overall weight of each board by up to 10 % — depending on size. The larger the board, the bigger the gain.
This lighter finish not only improves performance but also reduces production time and waste. Coat25 represents a big step forward in sustainability and consistency, while keeping the classic Appletree feel and durability.
We’re also making a quiet but meaningful mid-season update to the Mid-Length range.
Externally the shape remains familiar, but we’ve refined the volume distribution — moving a bit more foam toward the front. This small change makes a big difference, especially for parawing foiling, where the pull of the wing is more forward than upward. The result: smoother takeoffs, less nose-diving, and better stability on touchdowns.
Please note: this update isn’t a formal relaunch — we recommend being discreet with how you present it online. Consider it a subtle 2026 refinement.
All mid-lengths will also now feature the Coat25 construction, making them lighter and more responsive than ever.

The new Skipper Midlength is Appletree’s answer to the growing demand for the one board quiver killer. It shines in lighter wind, prone setups, foil assist, and as a progression board for wing and parawing.
Inspired by the need for a true performance MidLength, we took its predecessor and, with feedback from riders around the world, refined everything we didn’t love while preserving what we did. The result is a board that’s efficient, versatile, and forgiving: prone it, wing it, or parawing it!
The Skipper Midlength is built to serve a wide range of riders:
The Skipper Midlength features a displacement hull. A streamlined, canoe-like shape that moves through water with minimal resistance. This design builds speed quickly and allows for early takeoffs whether you’re on a floater or sinker setup. It excels in marginal conditions where speed and glide are key, but it’s equally at home in bigger, windier and more demanding conditions.
Performance-Driven Design Upgrades:
While the Apple Slice V3 shares the narrow feel, it’s a very different ride. It features a planing hull, making it more stable and beginner-friendly. If you’re new to winging or ride in heavier conditions, the Slice V3 might be your better match.
